OC Boardwalk Photos at 4th Street

Walk the OC Boards over a decade and a half ago, virtually, with these 4th Street Boardwalk Photos from 2006.

4th Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. 4th Street (Fourth Street) is where the Irish music crowd hangs out. Shenanigan’s Irish Pub is a popular place for both family dining and evening Irish (sing along) entertainment. And the Guinness is just the right temperature.

The view to the north shows you the El Capitan condominium and weekly rentals, which is home to Boardwalk Joe’s Restaurant of Cajun cuisine.
To the west you can see the Assawoman Bay in the distance. On your right is the El Capitan Condos and Boardwalk Joe’s restaurant. On your left is the Shoreham Hotel and Shenanigan’s Irish Pub. The OC Skateboard Park, also sits further out on 4th.
Turn south for a better look at the Shoreham Hotel and Shenanigan’s Irish Pub – this pub has great food and fun weekend entertainment throughout the summer. You can also see Mon Amie, a sunglass shop, and other hotels.

What a great place to spend a few days, with a hotel on one corner and a Dough Roller…

Walk the OC Boards over a decade and a half ago, virtually, with these 3rd Street Boardwalk Photos from 2006.

3rd Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. Third Street and the Boardwalk, what a great place to spend a few days, with a hotel on one corner and the Dough Roller on another, you certainly won’t have to wander far from the beach to eat or sleep.

Look north to see the Polynesian Hotel that overlooks the Boardwalk, right on the beach. In the distance you can see Shenanigans on the other end of the block.
A western view gives you the side of the Polynesian Hotel on your right and the famous Dough Roller Restaurant that sits below the Breakers hotel on your left. The Third Street Skateboard Park is just a few blocks in this direction.
Turn to the south to get an eyeful of various beach-y shops such as Park Place Jewelers, all of which sit beneath the Park Place Hotel. The Dough Roller with its yummy pizza and breakfast that is served all day, sits below the Breakers Hotel on the

OC Boardwalk Photos at 2nd Street

2nd Street (Second Street) is home to one of the most famous (or is that infamous?)…

Walk the OC Boards over a decade and a half ago, virtually, with these 2nd Street Boardwalk Photos from 2006.

2nd Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. 2nd Street (Second Street) is home to one of the most famous (or is that infamous?) sights on the Boardwalk, the Ocean Gallery. Whether or not you have an interest in fine art, you can’t miss this place.

The Ocean Gallery will certainly catch your eye as you look north from 2nd Street. The building itself is a unique work of art and inside you can find prints of all sizes from artists of all kinds.
Looking west, you see the Ocean Gallery on the right and the Plim Plaza Ocean Front Hotel, with the Mug and Mallet and the Paul Revere Smorgasbord, on your left. Occasionally you see a uniquely decorated car parked here – it belongs to the Gallery.
To the south is the Plim Plaza ocean front hotel which has stores beneath it such as Sunglass Hut and a bathing suit shop as well as the Mug and Mallet, and the Paul Revere Smorgasbord.
The unique sand sculptures of Randy Hoffman attract many visitors day and night.
