1st Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. 1st Street (First Street), being the “first” of the consecutively numbered streets, means you are only 26 blocks away from the north end of the OC Boardwalk. Walking 26 Blocks in Ocean City is easy – everything is flat and there are plenty of “watering holes” along the way.

Looking to the north, you see the Haven Hotel overlooking the beach, the Boardwalk, and the Atlantic Ocean. This hotel is within walking distance of many ocean city shops, eateries, and amusements.
Turn west and on your left your see the Golden Plate which serves up fresh squeezed lemonade and hot funnel cakes. On your right you see the Haven Hotel which overlooks the boards.
If you look south, you can see the Golden Plate lemonade and funnel cake stand as well as a bunch of shops that sit below the Rideau Motor Inn. Don’t forget to stop by Old Time Photos to dress up and have your picture takes in an old western scene.

North Division Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. North Division Street has the famous Boardwalk Arch (sign) that greets Ocean City visitors as they drive into town across the Route 50 bridge.

On the north side of N. Division Street is Tony’s Pizza with rooftop ocean view dining, beer, mixed drinks, subs, and [quite possibly] the best pizza on the Boardwalk.
Look west to find the Boardwalk sign that sits at the main gateway of Ocean City, a greeting to vacationers as they cross the route 50 bridge. (We thought we would show you this view because most people never notice the sign from the back.)
Turn south to find Edward’s, the Boardwalk’s own department store. If you forgot to pack anything from toiletries to swimsuits to an outfit for an evening out, Edward’s is the place to find it.
Officers of the Ocean City Police Department patrol the boards.

Caroline Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. Caroline Street, another of the County streets…provides yet more treats and another (often much needed) place to rest. The combination of Edward’s, Dumser’s, and the Fun City Arcade attracts people here all of the time.

Look north on Caroline Street to see Edward’s beach department store, another T-Shirt Factory, and Dumser’s Dairyland, home of some really great milkshakes – bar none.
A western view shows you another place to give your feet a rest between the Fun City arcade and Dumser’s Dairyland.
Come to OC for vacation and you could win a car to take home!
