A panorama and regular print of “standing at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean” in OCMD
It’s summertime and the living is easy.
We’re on the beach, where the water meets the sand, and it’s time to get in touch with your inner child. This is where you can let go of all your cares and worries and just be a kid again.
Kick off your shoes, throw off your cares, and set them down by your towel. You’re here to relax, so why not start with something simple? Think surf, sun and sand…
Let’s talk about those toes for a second: they’ve been trapped in those uncomfortable shoes for hours now—don’t they deserve some attention? Take off those shoes and socks and dig those toes into that soft sand!
Now let’s move on from there… replace those pant or skirt with a swimming suit and feel how good the sand feels against your skin. Don’t worry about what people think of you—this is your time! Just let yourself be free!
What’s better than a day at the beach? A day at the beach with your family or friend is truly hard to beat. With one of these photographs you can bring the beach into you home and enjoy it all year long.
Ocean City, Maryland is the perfect place to enjoy summer fun in the surf. The water has a gentle slope and the sand is soft and welcoming. The shoreline is such that it helps to keep the waves from becoming too rough for even young children.
If you’re looking for something more adventurous, you can explore the many local restaurants, shops and attractions that make Ocean City so special. You’ll find plenty of activities for all ages including miniature golfing, jet skiing, parasailing and water skiing just steps away from your hotel room!

Have fun…
The sky must have been just perfect for beach photos – between that brilliant blue and the wispy white of the clouds, I don’t think you could have a better picturesque sky.
Yes, it was of those perfect “walk along the beach” days. I just went there (10 minutes from our home) on an impulse – not planning to do any photography.
Thank you for the comment.
Yes, great shot! Could see it on a beach towel!
Thanks, Steve. Yup, I can “see” it on a beach towel but I also like it on a throw pillow and, of course, on a wall.
Lived along the coast of California most of my life. Not really a city dweller but since I had to, coastal communities had to be it. You can sit on the sand and look out into that great vastness. Your images are beautiful.
Thank you for commenting and for the compliment, Rebecca. We used to live in the city (Baltimore) but now live exactly two miles from the waters of the Atlantic Ocean – far enough back to not be endangered by coastal storms but close enough to be walking on the beach in less than 10 minutes.
Bill, makes me want to go to the beach! I can hear the waves! – Sharon
It was actually rather calm but, yes, you can always hear the waves.
Lovely work. I especially like the pano shot. Looks like you had a nice day at the beach.
Thanks, Bob. I’ve been exploring with panoramas a bit more lately, In some places, such as this, they work well.
