Belmont Towers is a new construction of luxury condos that sits on the north side of Dorchester Street overlooking the Boardwalk and the ocean.
Dorchester Street is just 3 blocks south of the Route 50 bridge that serves as a main gateway into and out of Ocean City.
Spin yourself south to find more t-shirt and souvenir shops as well as one of the better pizza places on the boardwalk, Piezanno’s Pizza (webmaster’s opinion).

Somerset Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. Somerset Street provides a taste of the old and a taste of the South. From old time photos to great tasting souther style pulled pork sandwiches, this is one popular place to be on the Boards.

Looking north, you will find Tiki Sunrise Island Food (try the pulled pork sandwich) and Old Time Photos where you get to dress up and have your picture alone or with friends in old time western settings.
The Somerset Plaza sign stands tall between Candy Kitchen, where you can get dessert after having lunch or dinner at the Tiki Sunrise fast food stand. Hall’s Pioneer Hotel is the building that you see behind Candy Kitchen.
Everyone knows about Candy Kitchen and their chocolate covered strawberries, saltwater taffy, and other sweet treats. Here is the one of the famous Candy Kitchens sitting on the south side of Somerset Street.

Wicomico Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842. Wicomico Street is one of the County streets – and just may represent the HEARTBEAT of the Boardwalk. This is usually the most popular (make that crowded) evening places to be in Ocean City. Here is where you find some of the main attractions, the Jolly Roger Pier Rides, Thrasher’s and Dolle’s – to name just a few.

Look north to find the Hamburgers and Hotdogs food stand at the corner of other snack stands, souvenir shops, and even discount jewelry stores. The Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum is on the right, under the lights.
Turn west for another shot of the Wicomico Street sign that sits above benches where you can rest or eat the treats from the many food stands in the area. Behind you is the entrance to the Pier Rides and games.
To the south, Dolle’s is known for their famous saltwater taffy and caramel popcorn. To the left are more fun games that are part of the Ocean Pier Rides.
