Whispering Woods Condominium

142nd St. & Tunnel Ave., Bayside Block, Ocean City, MD 21842

The Whispering Woods Condominium buildings were constructed in 1984 and are comprised of six buildings containing 12 units each – for a total of 72 condominium units. Each building has only two floors and each unit has a private, fenced courtyard. All of the units have two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The complex has ample parking, a large pool and open grassy areas. Whispering Woods is only a three block walk from the beach, and is convenient to movies, restaurants and shopping.

There is a watersports center, a marina, and a waterfront restaurant four blocks to the west. Fenwick Island, Delaware, with restaurants, mini-golf, and tax-free shopping is also within walking distance.

The webmaster of OCtheBeach.com started “life at the beach” with a unit at Whispering Woods. He kept that for nearly eight years before moving to a 12th Floor unit at High Point North that was directly on the beach. He now lives full time in southern Delaware – only two miles from this location on 143rd Stree.
