1st Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City, Maryland 21842
1st Street (First Street), being the "first" of the consecutively numbered streets, means you are only 26 blocks away from the north end of the OC Boardwalk. Walking 26 Blocks in Ocean City is easy - everything is flat and there are plenty of "watering holes" along the way.

Looking to the north, you see the Haven Hotel overlooking the beach, the Boardwalk, and the Atlantic Ocean. This hotel is within walking distance of many ocean city shops, eateries, and amusements. |
Turn west and on your left your see the Golden Plate which serves up fresh squeezed lemonade and hot funnel cakes. On your right you see the Haven Hotel which overlooks the boards. |
If you look south, you can see the Golden Plate lemonade and funnel cake stand as well as a bunch of shops that sit below the Rideau Motor Inn. Don’t forget to stop by Old Time Photos to dress up and have your picture takes in an old western scene. |
